Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

09 Toyota Rav 4, 2.2 Diesel, advice welcome...

    A friend just viewed one of these, brought it for a test-drive and is very impressed. We're going to go back to the garage next week to hopefully complete the purchase. Is there anything to be aware of with the 09 2.2 Diesel engine? Or any known common issues with the 09 Rav 4?

    Any helpful advice would be most welcome.

    Does that give head gasket trouble as in the avensis and Lexus is .

    Yes, but not as likely. The 180bhp versions seem to be the worst for it, the Rav would be 135hp if it's Irish.
