Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Is that dirk kuyt??

Yep, he's still going. Scoring regularly looking at stats as well!

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Hasn't gotten a sniff of a chance yet. I wonder is he producing in training.

I edited the lineup, dunno how I didn't cop that even though I was complaining about him starting v City despite not being fit.

Attendance has been decreased to about 30.000 for security reasons, nets have been placed in front of the stands to prevent people throwing stuff or getting on the pitch,...

All seems a bit overkill to me.

A giant banana thrown at black player in the Roma game? Crowd trouble outside at the match in Rotterdam? Objects being thrown on to the pitch constantly during the match? How about the Feyenoord fans going absolutely f*cking ballistic in Rome in the other game?

And you're wondering why there was some sort of consequence to all that bollocks?

That had nothing to do with racism. Just like Manchester City, Feyenoord fans have been bringing these inflatable things to games for years now.

Bringing and throwing at black lads ? Or is that bit a new development..

You mean the 'black lad' who didn't even notice it, until the ref pointed it out ? Must be bad aim, right ?

It was thrown on the pitch, that's what happens when people bring inflatable things to games. Same with beach balls or whatever.

I guess either UEFA fcked them over or you are an apologist for racism.

Where would he play...Fellaini, Rooney and Pogba taking up midfield spots

I think it's pretty certain that UEFA got into a hissy fit and ****ed them.

As someone who's been to Feyenoord games a few times I can pretty much say with certainty that it was not done out of racism, their fanbase simply isn't like that (some exceptions of course). Maybe anger due to the match, or someone just threw it because (as I said before) that's what tends to happen when thousands of people bring inflatable stuff to games.

Fairly pedestrian so far. Best chance came from Feyenoord. Rashford very isolated up front. Bailly with a slight twinge to his hamstring it seems.

Edit: Schneiderlin has been great defensively as has the team in general tho.

Rojo is a serious cause for concern. Marauding forward and not too bothered busting a gut to get back.

  • Is depay playing??

The ref really loves his whistle

  • Who is supposed to be playing #10

Very rough from the Dutch lads. Pogba not done much, time for Ibra maybe 50 minutes if still same scoreline.

    Why ibra?

    Can't blame Rashford

He's not getting any supply and nobody supporting him

Well that was pretty rubbish stuff.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,196 ✭✭✭✭RobbingBandit

Because Ibra has scored from nothing more than once this season, Rashford is doing what he can so far but that defence is tough.

Want to be getting someone closer to Rashford, very isolated. If the ref is going to insist on blowing his whistle so much he could at least start to do something to deter the cynical fouls every time it looks like a United player is going to get a run at the defence.

I'd be taking Mata off and bringing Memphis on

Have a midfield of Schneiderlin, Herrera and Pogba with the latter two getting forward when possible in tandem with each other, Martil Rashford and Memphis as the attackers

Feyenoord in good form and at home, they are no pushover so alright with how the game is going, just think it could be made a bit easier for ourselves.

Boring Boring Mourinho. Anti football against an abysmal Feyonoord side. Imagine Real Madrid or Barcelona setting up that like that against a 2nd rate European side.

Triple substitution coming up. Could be risky.

Why are United so defensive? Feyenoord have offered no threat or pace whatsoever. Mou happy with draw?
