Windows 10 Update freeze

I was checking for a windows 10 update earlier and I guess my brother turned off my laptop when it was downloading an update and its frozen at 45% for over an hour. I have tried looking in the task manager to stop the update, I did it this way before but I forgot how. :mad: Anyone able to help how I can stop this update or…

This seems to be a widespread issue, there is a long thread on Tenforums about it.

The workaround is to go Microsoft Catalog and manually download and install the update, I did this on two machines and it worked fine.
