Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Aggressive Dogs Workshop

    Hi folks,
As it's a topic that comes up repeatedly in this forum, I just thought I'd bring this upcoming event to the attention of the great dog owners who visit this forum :)
Renowned US dog behaviourist and lecturer Emma Parsons is coming to Ireland, Portlaoise to be precise, to run a seminar and workshop on using positive, reward-based training techniques to deal with and manage dog aggression and reactivity.
This is a workshop, so there'll be real-life dogs with their real-life owners for Emma to demonstrate these methods in a real-life scenario.
It's very much aimed at owners, particularly those who are experiencing problems with their feisty dog, those who can't bring their dog for a walk without running for cover when they see another dog coming, those whose dog barks, growls and lunges at other dogs, those whose dog has been kicked out of daycare or kennels because they're just plain unreliable around other dogs.
This event takes place in the Portlaoise Heritage Hotel on October 8th and 9th 2016.

    Thanks!
