Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Johnson via KO/TKO
Don't think I've ever had as hard a time making a decision for a main event poll as this.

    Poirier by decision.

Is anyone going to stay up to watch this one live? Two fights I really want to see but not many other good looking fights.

    Poirier via Submission
    Peahead by TKO.

    Poirier via Submission
    Peahead by TKO.

That was my initial thought but Johnson has never lost via TKO/KO before so I am not so sure that Poirer will KO him.

Enjoy watching both guys fight, tough one to call. Edging for Dustin, MJ has lost too many fights, can only see the same unless he has turned things around after fighting Nate.

Decision for Dustin, but can see it go either way. Wouldn't surprise me if someone gets TKO'd, they both like to swing.

Hall V Brunson could have some fireworks depending which Hall shows up.

Should be a cracking main event, heated face off last night, MJ looked 'gotten to'. Would be beaming if Dustin pulled off a big win to get him right up in the rankings. In gonna go with Dustin by sub, don't think he will get the ko so hope he looks for a finish on the ground.

Mystuc Meg couldn't even tell you what version of Hall will turn up tonight.

Big test for Dustin,if he dominates Johnson like he has everyone else at LW it would be a serious statement that puts him right in contention but Johnson is a step up in class to his previous fights at LW,and he could find the going tougher.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,509 ✭✭✭tinpib

Should be a good final round after Perez deducted a point. He has come out swinging.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

    Disgraceful officiating.

Morales did the exact same thing in the 1st round and no punishment. Taking the point after the break makes it even worse.

Then an illegal knee halfway through the round and the ref ignores it!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,847 ✭✭✭✭callaway92

Would be fairly shít for the division of Johnson won this. He'll get nowhere near the title and he really brings no hype ever. Poirier winning would be a good result for all with interest (bar MJ of course)

That ref is gonzo so I'd say.

No way that last round way a 10-8 and I'd Morales the first 2 rounds and then Perez got deducted a point, interesting fight BS decision

One of the weakest cards I've ever seen

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Terrible refereeing again here. He has warned Brown about 5 times now and still no point deducted. Ridiculous.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,610 ✭✭✭shocksy

The refereeing is an absolute shambles in this fight, plenty of warnings but not following through with point deductions.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

    "That's the last warning"

You've said that 3 ****ing times now FFS.

Yeah out of comp one, he was able to roll with the Mexican meat excuse and get all clear though, judging by his embarrassing performance was some dodgy meat for dodger

    Dodger v CM Punk anyone??

I'm not a fan of CM Punk or his MMA 'adventures' but I don't want to see him hurt that badly.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,161 ✭✭✭Amazingfun

WOw, no one here picked Johnson to win this, but this might get interesting, think his "desperate man" claim is real, lets goooooooooo

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,161 ✭✭✭Amazingfun

Stay classy Michael Johnson. Sickened for Dustin.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,847 ✭✭✭✭callaway92

As I said earlier in the thread, this is a nothing win for the division. Johnson really is going nowhere in regards to being a potential champion and isn't even a draw to be honest.

    Class KO all the same.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,615 ✭✭✭✭Mellor

Did they really call that a guillotine?
I seen 4 subs from this card.
    Benitez: standing no-arm guillotine
    Randy Brown: no-arm guillotine
    Chad Skelly: Anaconda

    And a RNC

Guys getting choked left and right.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,593 ✭✭✭theteal

Not a great card as expected. I feel bad for Dustin, Johnson is a c0ck.
    Hall stoppage way too early.
In the earlier fight Herb was very slow breaking them up after the anaconda choke, almost a full 2 seconds of blackout time.
The promo for 204 helped add to the anticipation!

Sucks for Dustin, back to just being a top 6-7 guy now maybe like he was at featherweight..??!!

Johnson was beyond classless, what a dickhead.
