    Irish top gear ploy????

Could work well we didn't just place a 4x4 but also a tractor now let's watch them rust.

Surprised the tractor couldn't recover itself from the first pic!

A nice wave full of salt water in the electronics might have shorted it

Possibly Ballyconnigar. Loads of action there at low tide around 1 - 1:30 this morning.

Plain and simple it's not a good idea to drive onto wet sand.. I've seen lads to this in 4x4s a lot, thinking they are invincible. It doesn't matter how good your tyres are, how many diff locks, how many electronic aids, if your vehicle is sitting on its axles, you're going nowhere.

That combined with not understanding tides and beach topography is a recipe for this

It is Ballyconnigar. Both were rescued at low tide this morning. Heard a story about the circumstances but can't put it here incase it's fishy.

I could be open to correction but I thi k insurance policies mostly exclude beach driving explicitly in their T&Cs

@The Royal Scam.. you can't say that and not tell us!!!

I heard that the Land Rover was borrowed and the the tractor was taken without asking aswell from people who know the owners. Another tractor was off the picture trying to rescue both until they gave up near high tide.
Tractor ran out of diesel and electronics got wet while waiting.

Saw the Disco being towed away at lunchtime. Not on a trailer, on the end of a rope. It looked a very sorry sight. :ermm:
