So this is probably a red-flag worthy thread, apologies in advance if it causes trouble mods!

We have recently founded Meath For Choice, here's what we stand for:
Meath For Choice is a non-for-profit voluntary community organisation campaigning firstly for the Repeal of the Eighth Amendment and secondly, for broader abortion rights in Ireland.
Ireland has the one of the most restrictive abortion laws in the European Union. Abortion is illegal in case of rape, incest and fatal foetal abnormalities.
Each day, 10 Irish women access abortion services abroad. No health or mental support services are available to them in Ireland.
We support women, their partners and families who are experiencing crisis pregnancies – no matter what choice they make.

Reason for this post: we'd like to inform anyone who's interested of our 2 upcoming events and everybody is welcome to attend (no commitment required). Even if you are on the fence about the topic or pro-life, do come along, it's not about being right or wrong - we want to open the debate for those of us living in Co. Meath.

Our public meeting and official launch is this Wed coming, 21/09 at 7.30 at the Unity center in Navan. Speakers include Clare Daly Td and Seamus McDonagh (Workers Party). We'll be introducing what we stand for and what we hope to achieve over the next couple of months, as well as recruit for more people to get involved with the campaign.

Secondly, next Saturday 24/09, we'll be attending the 5th annual March for Choice in Dublin. We have a kind sponsor who has donated funds for a bus - so are offering a free bus (one-way) with pick up at Navan Fairgreen (12.15) and Ashbourne Cinema Car Park (12.45)

DM me if you want to find out more, our search the usual social media channels for Meath For Choice.
