My Dad saw one of his golf-mates rocking a fitbit and decided he would like one himself, primarily to count the number of steps he takes per day (preferably held on his wrist).

Not knowing anything about FitBits I had a look on Amazon and see there are different varieties of FitBit (I assume he only needs the FitBit Flex @ £59 to record the steps), but there are also countless alternates that seem to be a bit cheaper.

The "Advance Tech" fitness tracker @ £24.99 seems to have good reviews ( https://www.amazon.co.uk/Advance-Fitbit-Screen-Fitness-Tracker/dp/B01DPJ39MI/ ) has anyone tried this or recommend an alternate I should check out?

I would recommend miband can be got for about 15 euro for the basic version
Have a look on Gearbest com (sorry can't post a link as I'm using the app)

The original one is what I have at the moment counts my steps.

There's two new models one being the s model which adds a heart rate monitor

And now the miband 2 is out adds a display I'm hoping to upgrade to the 2 shortly.

Battery life is amazing I get almost a month out of mine

Cool how long was delivery? Would like to get within a week if possible, hence why I was looking at Amazon.

This is more expensive than Aliexpress or Gearbest, because you're buying it here, but this would be with you in a week. Mi Band 2 is by far the best reasonably priced tracker.

theres only 5 reviews not really reliable considering the two bad ones are both issues with something not working.
