Got them today on Sligo, didn't look like it was a special. Yet to taste.

Plenty 2 pack (100sheets per pack) scanning at 71c

    I have cleared Clarehall extra

All that left Is the new 100sheet since roll (replacing 2 pack)

Presume 2 pack same in all Tesco as a discontinued barcode

Never seen Plenty napkins or toilet roll
    - Although I doubt one sheet would do much!

Counter Tesco Finest Irish Angus Beef Mince <5% Fat

    Special OfferSAVE 33%
    valid until 1/8/2017
    €8.36 (€8.36/each)

The mince also looked less moist than pre-packaged stuff -looked grand, did not look all dried out or having an edge/crust or anything.

I prefer higher fat stuff myself but some might get lean -and the butchers counter is often overlooked.

Can't see this marked as a special offer online or advertised anywhere in store, however the beef stir fry 425g sold for 3€ it's actually packed in 550g portions

Not the bargain of the century but certainly a decent enough deal

Tesco have a gimmick on to match competitor prices on 800 products (including branded and own label products) that Tesco consider matter most to our customers.

Does anyone know where I can get a list of the 800 products? Or any stand-out bargains?

They don't have a list- its a shelf edge label that they use to identify any products that they are trying to flog. Also- I'd put a massive question mark over their assertion that own brand products in one multiple = own brand products in another multiple.

Its a marketing ploy- nothing more, nothing less........

The 3 for €3 deal is good, some items have an original price of €2.99...

Meh, it is a gimmick but I want to see a list!
How do they expect tesco.ie shoppers to know what's reduced?
I've seen cling film, digestives, sliced cheese packs, jars of olives, pasta, some frozen veg reduced to 'normal' prices.

It's the double strength concentrate so it is €3 full price - It's actually €3.20 in SuperValu I think.

Does anyone know if Tesco take the 10 off for 40 that Dunnes are doing right now? I rang their customer care but I couldn't get through.

Its 10-off-50- not 40- and yes, they do.

It's a different voucher than the normal 10 off 50. In the recent back to school mailing they gave 4 weekly 10 off 40 vouchers in the back of the booklet. I assume these are the ones Surreptitious is talking about.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,130 ✭✭✭Surreptitious

Yes, they are the ones I mean.

For what it's worth I think Tesco will take them. They are no different to the Supervalu ones that are regularly posted out and they accept them.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,130 ✭✭✭Surreptitious

It would be great if they did, it's still a tenner!

I've used the Supervalu ones, you just have to make sure you use the one that is in date that week.
