Some very interesting matches this week.

Houston must be licking their chops to be facing a Patriots team with a third string quarterback. I still think the Pats will find a way to win because they're the Pats, but it will be fun to watch I think.

I know it is a 2-0 team against an 0-2 team, but I don't think the Jags are as bad as they have looked, and I think Baltimore have had the softest start to a season imaginable. Coming back from 20-0 down may sound impressive, but the Browns are the Browns. I can see Jacksonville win that one.

I think Detroit will give the Pack a scare. I will be looking for ways to get with them with the bookies.

Vikings - Panthers is arguably game of the week. If Bradford can do it on the road against that defence, I will get excited.

Broncos @ Bengals is the other shout for best game. I think the Bengals do them, but if the Steelers could keep Green and the Red Rifle quiet, then Miller and co will surely fancy their chances. For me, the Bengals will murder the Broncos offence, which swings it to the home team.

Jets @ Chiefs also gets me aroused. Both teams are at a crossroads. Win this one, and they are legitimate playoff shots. Lose it, and it is an uphill struggle. I really don't know what will happen here.

Chargers can put a fork in the Colts' season.

10 - 6 last week, 22 - 10 for the season. Let my head rule my heart and backed the Packers to beat my Vikes. Happy to have been wrong but I am less confident for the Panthers, the Packers came in off the boil. I like the Texans to take the Pats with their 3rd string rookie QB.

Houston Texans @ New England Patriots
    Baltimore Ravens @ Jacksonville Jaguars
Washington Redskins @ New York Giants
Detroit Lions @ Green Bay Packers
    Cleveland Browns @ Miami Dolphins
    Minnesota Vikings @ Carolina Panthers
    Denver Broncos @ Cincinnati Bengals
    Arizona Cardinals @ Buffalo Bills
Almost Vegas Raiders @ Tennessee Titans
LA Rams @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
San Francisco 49ers @ Seattle Seahawks
    Pittsburgh Steelers @ Philadelphia Eagles
New York Jets @ Kansas City Chiefs
Bye Bye San Diego Chargers @ Indianapolis Colts
    Chicago Bears @ Dallas Cowboys
Atlanta Falcons @ New Orleans Saints

going to be a big test of the the titans D this week, Raiders are scoring for fun.

Expect a huge amount of rushing and ultimately trying to keep the Raiders D on the field

    Washington v New York 6.00

    Pittsburgh v Philly 9.25

They have picked two bad games I think.

    Minnesota Vikings @ Carolina Panthers
    Denver Broncos @ Cincinnati Bengals

Either of those should be the early game.

Yeah Minny @ Carolina has a good chance of being the nfccg latter in the season. Very exciting match up.

Eagles have played Cleveland and Chicago so far I think? But they have looked good...

They have. For all that the Bears are quite poor the D is actually pretty strong in places, they just were put in bad positions by the offense in the second half. We didn't blitz Wentz much at all but when our guys got to pressure him he was still able to get off his passes. I can't remember who it was that really blasted him with a hit that he could see coming, a real car crash, and he had enough poise to make a completion. It was impressive. For a team that doesn't really have many receivers, and who were missing their main receiving TE, it was quite a performance.

I would say they are one of those teams listed as "in the hunt" in the final few weeks of the season. Think it's a year early for them to really take on the better teams, but yeah, they look good to me.

9-7 last week, which included picking the Bears on Monday night - evidence, if it were needed, to stay away from gambling over the first couple of weeks of the season. We'll say 17-15 for the season so far....straight up! The NFL is tough to predict.

Houston Texans @ New England Patriots...hate picking against the Pats at home here, but c'mon!
Baltimore Ravens @ Jacksonville Jaguars...last chance saloon for the Jags, if they can't beat a poor 2-0 Ravens.
Washington Redskins @ New York Giants...Giants look the class of the East
Detroit Lions @ Green Bay Packers...GB to bounce back after a week of criticism...that Minny D is tough.
Cleveland Browns @ Miami Dolphins...Miami to get a win after two close(ish) losses.
Minnesota Vikings @ Carolina Panthers...That awesome Minny D gets a real test. Carolina not been at their best so far, but will put down a marker here.
Denver Broncos @ Cincinnati Bengals....Tough matchup, and could go either way, but think Denver will put the heat on Dalton and offense will do just enough again.
Arizona Cardinals @ Buffalo Bills...Bills are a mess and Arizona will stomp them.
Oakland Raiders @ Tennessee Titans....Think The Titans are more balanced, Raiders D has not shown up yet.
St. Louis Rams @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers....Both revert to form this week gives Tampa the win.
San Francisco 49ers @ Seattle Seahawks...on reputation rather than form - 49ers have played better thus far, but Seattle offense has to come to life soon, surely?
Pittsburgh Steelers @ Philadelphia Eagles...We'll see how Wentz does against a contender, but I think the Steelers will be too good.
New York Jets @ Kansas City Chiefs...another great game, both need a win to stay in touch in their divisions. Chiefs will shade it at home.
San Diego Chargers @ Indianapolis Colts....Chargers have impressed in 6 of 8 quarters this year, Colts playing for their lives (this early!) but not good enough.
Chicago Bears @ Dallas Cowboys...the Bears might be the worst team in the NFL with Cutler out. Cowboys to win easily.
Atlanta Falcons @ New Orleans Saints...both teams flatter to deceive, Saints in a shootout.

I watched some of the Bills/Jets last week on Twitter and its one of the best live streams I've seen quality wise. Was amazed it was such good quality.

Wasn't me, but I know it was running ahead of Gamepass anyway. Not sure about Sky - hard to imagine they'd be ahead of Sky but I guess it's possible.

Ah, yeah that would make more sense! Wish they'd do it with Monday night, and take it off ESPN. Really the worst coverage of any network, and the most difficult to access in the states too.

Don't see much pressure going onto Wentz. I'd trust the Steelers pass rush defense, only given up 90 yards or so, but nearly 350 yards of passing given up and I don't think a sack yet only two touchdowns so far.

The last time they went to Philadelphia 2-0 in 2008, they were well beaten but went to the Superbowl...

Stupid play calling. 3rd and 1 you got to punch it with Blount at least. Defense were completely setup for that throw and knew it was coming.

That has to be a Patriots ball.

    Pats ball definitely.

Why do the refs blow it up so early? Worst case scenario let it go and let the turnover review sort it out

Two very questionable calls going in the Texans favour so far. The first down where it didn't look like he got near the marker and now this.

Vital turnover, Pats D and Special Teams will have to carry the offense tonight

Not saying the refs have any motive but how they said Texans ball when no white shirt landed on the ball initially is beyond me. Specsavers calling. Maybe the color rush jersey is confusing them.

I only thing i can think of is that they're afraid of big collisions/injuries once a players down
