Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The custom shield from a dentist seem to vary a good bit, anywhere from €180 to €60, I'm in Limerick.

I got a kick on the lower jaw that made me realize I need something better than this cheap one I wear now, if the kick was any more powerful i'd have been visiting A&E. I think a shield that is designed for lower and upper arches is safer for TaekwonDo, but I'm.not 100%

Has anyone experience using one, are they worth the premium over the standard boil/bite ones.

I got one for the first time three years ago for playing GAA. As we got them done as a team (about 25/30 of us) it was considerably cheaper than the prices quoted above... but I find mine brilliant - I can breathe with this one, whereas any others I tried (boil and bite) I just could not function and would always end up discarding them.

I love might. Very comfortable and easy to breath. Boil and bite makes me gag.
I think the double ones are unnecessary, and probably harder to breather with.
