Using A program to compile lists

hey all just a quick one, is it possible to use MS word to generate a list, for example i have a lot of my weekly recipes typed out in a word document. i'm wondering is there any possible set up, where i could select recepes and word would generate a list of the ingrediants along with quanitites?
