    Have the fixed idea in my little head that I want to eat :pac::pac::pac::pac: this. Not looking for a bargain :eek: :eek: but has anybody seen this combination in Ireland. I've eaten this but maybe not in Ireland.
    Thanks

    You used to be able to get it from Cadbury but it seems to have gone off the market a few years. I haven't seen it onsale elsewhere but maybe Marks and Spencer's might be worth a look. Or a specialist chocolate shop. Please report back if you find it as I used to love the Cadbury one.

    It might be worth asking the mods to move this thread to the Food Forum for a better response

    Haven't seen Rum & Raisin in years but you have just reminded me of Cadburys Rum & Butter bars, they were Devine, could really taste the Rum.

    Ritter Sport make a fantastic Rum, Raisin and Nut one, but I haven't seen it in Ireland unfortunately.

    But you can order it from amazon, for example.

    Ritter is good. You can also find rum-raisin-flavored chocolate more often than not in Eastern European groceries, especially around Christmas.

    Yeah Lidl carry a range of Ritter bars, but unfortunately no Rummy ones, argh, argh argh,:mad:

    Waiting untill Xmas the craving might be gone ;), but thanks for the hope.

    Amazon; the craving is not that strong, should I join Amazon Prime to have it quicker I'd be up there with the Russian oligarchs :cool: having fresh Caspian sea caviar jetted into London.

    Well, the other alternative is to befriend a German online and have them send you a care package ;)

    It's not the same I know but a lot of the artisan chocolate makers do a rum and raisin fudge. If you Google Irish artisan chocolate rum and raisin you will get a list.
    Also in a store local to me there is an irish brand (clear wrapping if anyone can name them??) they have a large range of bars but I cannot remember if rum&raisin was one of them. Next time I'm there I'll check. If I could remember the brand I could google it!

    Sainsbury's on the island of Ireland stock it. http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/shop/gb/groceries/ritter-sport-rum-raisin---hazelnut-100g Delivery to a Northern Irish address for as little as one GBP. I get them to deliver to my MIL's place, which is good because she cant get out much so I can add things she needs as well, then I just pick up my things when I visit.

    @Speedwell, thanks for the link,
    @Aimee, I did look at the flavours from the Artisan makers but no sign, fudge wouldn't do it for me though.
    @Shenshen

    I know a few of them there, but this desire I feel for Rum+Raisin chocolate would wither if I had take some severe organising to satisfy it. I think I will be waiting until November and Spain (might have been the last place I had it.

    By the way anyone ever tasted Rhubarb flavoured chocolate?
    Got it in Estonia last June

    If it is of any use to you - Centra on Charlemont Street in Dublin 2 have Ritter Sport Rum, Raisin & Hazelnut bars. I am eating one now. :)

    Aldi - Choceur do a version https://www.aldi.co.uk/p/48825/0

    It's quite nice. The cadbury's one was lovely wonder why the stopped doing it.

    Marks and Spencers used to do Rum & Raisin icecream which was to die for but they stopped doing it.

    They got the chop because "they promoted alcohol to minors" same as the old club shandy drink. The chocolate and candy cigarette sticks were discontinued for the same reason.

    Damn thanks to the op i want one now myself.
