Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Did my eyes deceive me? Did Valencia just cross the ball with his left foot?

I saw that yeah, was curious as to who the kids were and why the players had jerseys with their names. They were from all over the world so was it charity or something?

I had to laugh at the girl with Mata who took a great sniff of his jersey after he handed it to her.

What was the deal with the kids and jerseys there with the United players?

It's wear your mascot's jersey day. The kids are from all around the world and it's to celebrate the reach of the BPL, or United, not sure whose initiative it is.

    I salute you roboklopp

Hold on, has Shaw been playing well lately? Even talking about it now on SSN

Are you watching the match at all?

Pogba taking an age to offer himself to receive the ball from defenders hence why they're pumping long balls forward. Not even a Man United fan but it's pissing me off.

    Some good movement

I'm sure you know he has been playing well as you watch a lot of us.

Its just Sky going with the "if he wasn't injured would he be dropped" nonsense because of Joses supposed criticism.

Its Sun level journalism and you are perpetuating it for the lols.

Game is 10 minutes old and this thread is heading over a cliff already. Bravo.

Leicester still using their main tactic as 'slide the ball through to Vardy and see if he can outpace defenders'. We'll see how high a line utd play throughout the game to give him the chance to actually exploit it. I'd imagine they will be looking to shut that avenue as much as possible though.

    Leceister building in confidence.

    Under pressure early

Leicester almost had too many people forward there. :pac:

Utd are not pressing the ball nearly enough.

It works if they get the first goal. If they dont it's certainly more difficult

United buckling under the pressure of Marc Albrighton is absolutely understandable. No need to be so harsh.

Yizzer all as bad for biting and baiting.

I blame it on the boogie myself.

This is very poor. No intensity at all from United.

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,754 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

Some of the play is very pedestrian.

Soft goal to concede, good header though.

That seemed way too easy a header.

That's what you get with a decent corner! Brilliant! Good man, Smalling.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,006 ✭✭✭edgecutter

    We got a goal from a corner:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Oh, that's right Rooney is taking them anymore.

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,754 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

A set play goal for United, something which has been rare.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,736 ✭✭✭Bleating Lamb

Now that's how you take a corner!!!

Not the ****ty floating ones Rooney takes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Ah balls. First touch was the problem

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 15,238 ✭✭✭✭Diabhal Beag

Put it in the mixer and you'll cause problems. Great ball from Herrera there too.

  • Subscribers Posts: 32,855 ✭✭✭✭5starpool

Excellent counter by utd, Rashford unlucky with the first touch, just a bit off.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,594 ✭✭✭✭Trigger

Great counter. All from Herreras tackle

    Ah rashers!

    OMG a counter attack

    I wonder why

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,795 ✭✭✭✭Francie Barrett

Jaysus, we knew Leicester would struggle to emulate last season, but they are hopeless this year.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,736 ✭✭✭Bleating Lamb

    Great play by Herrera there.

Brilliant counter attack. That pass from Ibrahimovic

    Nice counter attacking.

A lot of rare good stuff in the last few minutes for United.

    Pity Rashford couldn't finish.

  • Site Banned Posts: 12,341 ✭✭✭✭Faugheen

Jesus, even when he's not on the pitch all people can talk about is Wayne Rooney.

There's 11 players out on that pitch, support them and don't worry about the player on the bench everyone's been begging to be dropped.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 42,606 Mod ✭✭✭✭Lord TSC

How are we not two up...

  • Subscribers Posts: 32,855 ✭✭✭✭5starpool

It's amazing what a goal does for confidence. Amazed Ibrahimovic missed that.

  • Site Banned Posts: 12,341 ✭✭✭✭Faugheen

That would have been an incredible goal.
