Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Shaw has been a loss no doubt, but blind has been fantastic, great call by Jose

It's clearly obvious now that Kante was the most important aspect of Leicester winning the premiership last season.

Really difficult to make a case for Wayne Rooney being any where near this Man United team.

Alright, Leicester have been garbage but Man United have made them that way by being completely ruthless.

I don't see where Rooney fits in when the current XI are playing this well.

I reckon Leicester are missing Kasper big time. Look so disorganised without him. Rest of the back 5 is the same.

I thought he may have been a weak link against mahrez but I was wrong

    Mahrez in Blinds pocket

    So

You take a good corner and you hit it with your head towards goal

Poor defence or not it's, take the chances

The second one was for Rashfords goal, so I've no idea what you're talking about.

WTF? Is this some sort of genius or a freak game (given the goals nature) or are Leicester just rank poor?

Commentators cant get over how 'out of character' LCFC are. The thing is, it was last season that was out of character. They were nearly relegated the season before and this season is just a return to normal.

United with no Rooney playing... #Winning

Great performance but Leicester really are poor. Long season ahead for them.

They'll finish comfortably in the top half.

United are being ruthless from set pieces today, taking advantage of the chances Leicester are gifting them with their shocking defending. Hopefully there's no starting place for Fellaini or Rooney in the next game.

    Glazers Out!

They had the exact same form for a 15 month period. You can't go "out of character" for that long.

It must be almost impossible to motivate that Leicester team. For a lot of them, last season will have been the pinnacle of their career and nothing they do now will come close (Mahrez, possible Vardy excepted).

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Utd are a different team without Rooney playing the ball backwards and slowly jogging around killing any momentum.

Feel like Homer Simpson when he hears the Isotopes are no longer losers. One minutes he is bad mouthing the team the next he is a full kit... Hope Ibra grabs one in second half. #Who-ney

I see the 'I was right about Wayne Rooney' comments have already started. It's hilarious the way people instantly decide things when a team had had s good 45 minutes.

It is now more obvious than ever that Rooney needs to be shipped out.

No longer good enough we look much better without him

There has been a noticeable improvement in our performance sans Rooney and Fellaini, even if it's only 45 minutes.

    Glazers Out!

Not quite that simple. Despite their best intentions, when an underdog achieves their ultimate dream it is extremely hard to work just as hard and be just as motivated again when they clearly overachieved (albeit for a sustained period).

Will this be the new hipster shtick. "Rooney's not as bad as he's being made out to be?"

Vardy/Mahrez both off! Clearly Ranieri is throwing the second half.

Too half, sure. Comfortably, I doubt it. Especially if they collapse like this every time they go one down.

Leicester seem to be pressing us in possession a lot more effectively now. We'll see how long they can keep that energy up.

Going to see more of that as the game winds on and the LCFC players start trying to get some payback with digs and late tackles. Ref needs to deal with it ASAP.

If it exists, we probably have an official partner for it.

This isn't a sudden reaction from people. This debate has been going on for years now. I'm not saying 45 minutes is basis for proving people right but there has been a remarkable upturn in how they're playing.

Goals from corners, general delivery, general freedom/passing in midfield has been fantastic with players playing in their preferred position.

Best first half in the league since 2001 for United.
