Building wall inside polytunnel

A Friend of mine has just started out in stonewall building this year and seeing as it's coming into winter, he's thinking of getting himself a cheap or 2nd hand poly tunnel to keep the rain off. I'm thinking maybe it's not as easy as one thinks.

Can one work in polytunnels all day in the heat they generate.

Would the high winds in winter not blow it over if opened at both ends.

How long does it take to errect a 6x3m tunnel and can they be moved easy.


He was thinking maybe if to hot, is it possible to use the frame and just use a wide tarp over top yet keep bottom open.

A poly is too expensive for that purpose only and they are a permanent structure if they are to be secure - they are set in concrete.

Can get a 6x3m poly tunnel on Amazon for 139£. Don't think they need concrete

I was going to post something like this but can't see that staying up in winter.

OP, maybe a few scaffolding tubes made into a 6x3 shape and covered with tarpolines and tied down. Thatll be stronger vthat the rest.

If its just rain hes looking to keep off, i'd be inclined to set up a tarp and ridgeline cover. all he needs is two points for the rope, good clothesline poles would do and he may already have in place. Inexpensive, easy to set up, easy to take down,
