    Hi,

I'm wondering if there is a good reason why an ATM withdrawal would disappear for three days from our account detail. This kind of thing has happened in the past where transactions are recorded twice etc but it's usually an unusual transaction like a British website (albeit increasingly more common this summer). However this is the first time it's happened with an ATM withdrawal. It's incredibly frustrating keeping track of an account when transactions get doubled or disappear for up to three days at a time (and not just over a weekend-this was three working days!!)

    Good Morning mirrorwall14,

Thank you for getting in contact with us here on Boards.ie.

When you're logged into 365online late at night, transactions may appear duplicated. This can happen when the system is updating however, should return to normal by morning. This can also happen, if the initial transaction was declined and the retailer has input the card details again or if the have incorrectly duplicated the process of the transaction. Again, this should correct itself within 3 to 5 working days.

In your recent situation where the cash is appearing twice on your account, this is generally due to the ATM itself. The funds will normally adjust themselves over night once the ATM recalibrates.

If funds are not returned to your account, we offer a full Chargeback service where you can dispute any transactions on your account. You can locate the form for this procedure here on our website.

If we can help with anything else here, please don't hesitate to contact us again.

    Thanks,
    Elaine
