Elektra Beckun Planer-Thicknesser 12 inch

Anybody have any experience of the above machine. The ease of changeover to thicknessing would be a big factor for me.

Seems pretty expensive for a second hand machine. You need to be sure it will run on a standard 13 amp circuit. A clutch to disengage the feed rollers is desirable. Personally I prefer the rubber rollers that Scheppach uses - I have seen wood come out of thicknessers with indentation marks from a metal roller. Have a browse on fleabay - most of the UK retailers are willing to ship over here.
