I'm working on Saturday but hope to slip away for a while. I'll probably look ridiculous there in a shirt and tie! :o

Hey lads, great idea and I plan to attend in search of a new saddle.

Just wondering if it's worth my while to bring some clothing and bits from the dark side (MTB)?

Anyone going to have touring wheels, dynamo hub and dynamo light? I know that's very specific, but I'm eyeing some up on Rosebikes for Christmas

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,561 ✭✭✭Eamonnator

    I will also have:
A Kinesis alloy MTB frame(26") with Rock Shox forks large size.
A pair of Shimano CX wheels with discs.
A pair of 29" MTB rims, new.
Plus assorted MTB stuff, brakes levers, discs, handlebars etc.

I chucked a SP front light in the box yesterday.

Would certainly get someone up and running while waiting on a specific item to be on sale

If you don't appear, you'll not get my gear

Just remember, when my Assos is gone, it's gone...

Rob, is there a cash machine nearby in case anyone needs a top up?

  • Registered Users Posts: 963 ✭✭✭detones

Atm in the spar beside carpark.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,338 ✭✭✭Lusk_Doyle

The bookies might be a better bet for the price of his gear!

There is an ATM around the corner which is loaded and ready to go ;)

Bring a track bike to display too if you can ???

Just loading up the van now, I've got quite a decent haul if I say so myself.
Amazing what you find when you start rummaging!
Loads of team clothing, wheels, saddles, stems, seatposts, cassettes, co2 cartridges, pumps, tubes, tyres, helmets, shoes, bottles, bottle cages etc etc
Show your support for the organisers, come on down and grab a bargain from me or from someone else :)

It is with great regret I have to inform you he's backed out citing "legal reasons"

Sorry guys, but Lance simply did not want to come face to face with Rob

The show will go on though

No but I've made a few calls since that bombshell and am happy to announce Cervelo will be replacing Trek as main sponsors this afternoon

I will be wearing a Team GB T-shirt in celebration

EDIT: Oh Christ! 25,000 posts. Need to delete a few pages of the Off topic thread to bring it back down a bit...

Myself,Rob and Eamonater are setting up shop. Any allegations of pre sale dealing are wildly exaggerated.

Cheers lads. Left with more than I arrived with as I had no takers for my groupset but would go again

Was only out for a bit. Had the little lad with me and he got bored. Fast!

Beasty had a nice bike there. Wouldn't know what to do with it.

Saw some nice deep section rims. If only I had time/money!

The quantity and quality of stuff people had to sell was incredible.Eamonnster,Beasty and Rob Fowl especially. Really could have got myself into trouble.
And really surprised that some stuff didn't sell.
Sorry I didn't get to meet all of ya.
    Next time ?
