Hi everyone. We are in a rented apartment with Electric storage heaters which haven`t been on from about March.Last night I turned on the convector heater part of the living room one,it started to click and then there was a dull bang and all the electric tripped out.
I have two questions, would it still be safe to use the storage heater part of the unit? ,and also is it the Landlord`s responsibility to fix this or mine?

If you are in a rented apartment then the landlord is responsible. I wouldn't use it till it has been inspected by an electrician.
