Hi, Can anyone advise if im understanding this correctly. We are eligible for the HAP scheme as we are at risk of becoming homeless. Just joining this thread as I am facing similar problems. I am a single working parent, and I am not on any housing list. Do I have to qualify to get on a housing list? Do I have to be under certain income?
I have just sent off several emails to try and rent a property - and not one reply. Am I being naive - do they not bother to even reply?
V worried as just want place to live, don't want any handouts. I am trying to rent in D12/D6 areas and will pay up to 1600 for 2 bed
