Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Anyone familiar with Limerick databases?
I did a google search on my possible ancestor's name and came up with this page - http://www.limerickcity.ie/media/11 08 34.pdf. So that's fine, I found a death notice for the man I wanted.
But the problem is that this pdf page does not have any year on it, so I still don't know his date of death.
When I visit the Limerick City archives website the search there does not give any results for the name. So any ideas as to how I find out what the date is of the newspaper record I have found?

Vincent Francis Rivaz, mentioned on that page, died 2 November 1834 in Hastings.
    Hope that helps.

Looking at Richard Reynell, it might be 1911, or possibly 1887.

Is the date not included in the URL address of the PDF file???

I've used the site, some good, some great but a serious issue I've had with them is that some of the genealogical 'stuff' by contributors is plain wrong and both the contributors and LCA site managers do not respond to emails or allow a questionmark over unattributed claims/assertions.

The Herbert Mayo/Mary Ann Grace Quin marriage is 3 November 1834.

FYI: The Obituaries come from the Limerick City Library (Local Studies department) http://www.limerickcity.ie/library/localstudies/ not the Limerick Archives which is a completely different section of the council https://www.limerick.ie/archives
