    Hi,
If you are selling a house in commuter area (North Wicklow/Kildare) of Dublin would you pick a local estate agent or would you select one in Dublin? Do you think it makes a difference as I am guessing a lot of buyers will search online and local interest would see the sign outside the house?

    Thanks.

Get an estate agent that will put the house on myhome.ie or daft.ie.
any estate agent will put a sign outside the house ,
So locals can see the house is for sale .agents charge around 1-2 per cent of the sale price plus vat .
Look on those websites ,see house,s in your area, what agents are they using to sell their home.many people look at daft.ie and myhome.ie and local newspapers
when looking for a house .

I'd pick a local agent, purely because a local agent is likely to hold more viewings. An agent an hour away is unlikely to be overly accommodating for a one-off party looking to view or a second viewing by an interested buyer.

Have a look online for local viewings and go to them, see the agent in action yourself and let that help your decision.
