    Hi,

Scanning a huge pile of bank statements today, I'm left wondering - not for the first time - why Bank of Ireland issue statements on a non-standard paper size, whether this is a (for some reason) deliberate measure or not.

Standard A4 paper size is 297mm x 210mm. Bank of Ireland statements come on 300mm x 210mm paper.

The 3mm difference, while seemingly small, does mean that it's impossible to auto-feed the documents into most standard office scanners/copiers.

If you're scanning a lot of statements regularly, it does add up to a lot of wasted time!

    regards
