Clongriffin residents - who to contact about the main street?

    Hi folks,

I know a few fellow Clongriffin dwellers read this forum; I was wondering if there's a contact to report/express concerns about what they recently did on the Main Road there - both the letting agent and landlord have no idea.

They recently put up those "speed dissuasor" electronic displays; Without entering the merit of these devices (I'm fairly sure they make people drive faster rather than slower as they display patronizing messages), there's an actually much bigger issue: they put up gigantic, billboard-like "Children at play!" signs that actually block the view for both pedestrians trying to cross and for driver on said pedestrians!

I realized this yesterday, crossing in front of the Centra - I could not see if there was any incoming traffic as the signs completely blocked my view, and I'm 6'1". Driving this morning I checked the driver's POV, and although not as badly as for pedestrians, the sign(s) do offer a "blind area" where especially a small child could dart out totally unseen...

Mod note: Moved to the Dublin City forum which covers Clongriffin. There is still a link to the thread in the Dublin County North forum.

A local councillor(s), preferably with some photos showing how badly sight lines have been affected?
