    Guess who owns Seatwave ?

    Hence my complaint!

I sent a ranting email to complaints@ccpc.ie about Ticketmaster/Seatwave, with dates, times, screenshots etc. Nothing will happen with it, but it calmed me down.

People should just bombard him with silly offers, I sent him €1 offer on the tickets. He's selling them at €250 each

    Hehe

Decided to check SeatWave for cheapest available...

Doubt there'll be a second date.. Croke Park is too big to sell two..

They'd arent Bruce or Brooks level!

Cardiff is nowhere full capacity for gigs afaik..

I dunno, they sold out the first 80k in about 20 minutes.

Brussels, Sweden and Cardiff got extra dates. What is the hold up here.

    So did the script tho

If they do announce a second night, will they go on sale immediately?

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,812 ✭✭✭thelad95

People who are saying they're not popular enough have their heads buried in the sand. Tickets sold out in 20 minutes this morning and thousands were left disappointed.

Coldplay are massive, a second date will be announced in the next 24 hours.

A second date will be announced.

Ticketmaster are just on the phone to all Dublin hotels informing them of when so the hotels can jack up their price before its announced so that anyone travelling will still get screwed.

Well, if Ticketmaster are doing it through Seatwave and Ticketmaster premium, why shouldn't he.

They should just put it on sale.

Added another date to Cardiff none for Dublin YET but hopefully soon

It's Croke Park, limited number of dates in a tear. I'd imagine if there's to be a second date then it would be the Friday given that their next concert is on the 11th but are there rules about playing concerts on consecutive nights?

They're playing in Italy on the 3rd and Dublin on the 8th, they'll more than likely slot in on Friday the 7th.

Is someone else playing Croke Park next year? If not it shouldn't be a problem.

They could still play the Sunday because if you look at their tour dates, they really only need 1 night off between dates.

Second dates are pre arranged woth artists.. hence why they're announced normally straight away..

    It's not looking good guys..

A second date in Croke Park is a rosk for promoters..
need to be a guarantee before it happens..

I honestly thought this would struggle to sell.
Goes to show what I know!

Whats the risk? It'll clearly sell well.

I think it was 24 hours later with Ed Sheeran, there will of course be a second date.

There's no such thing as guarantees with concerts anyway, tickets are always sold subject to licence, look what happened with Gareth brooks.

I'd say they're happy to wait a day to make a few quid on Heatwave in the meantime and have the punters all lined up again at 0900 tomorrow!

What's sad is that, according to Ticketmaster, I'm still in the queue :P

It's amazing the level of dislike many have for Coldplay, this was always going to sell out and fast, and they would easily sell out a second date. It was never going to be any other way, whether you like them or not they're one of the biggest acts on the planet at the moment.

Ticketmaster? If I were to speak honestly of them I'd be rightfully banned.
