We're they really 50% dearer? I checked a few of the gigs across Europe (germany, France, austria) and the standing prices were 100 plus.

50% dearer than Paris ,standing in Paris is 67 euro, top seats were 100 euro.
Lyon standing is 73, top seats 100 euro.
Sweden standing is 71 euro ,top seats 103 euro.
    Belgium standing 81,top seats 116.
German gigs were pricey though ,standing was ~110 euro ,top seats 137.

Dublin gigs were the most expensive overall though .

Heard a rumour that the Friday has provisionally been booked already. Don't know why it hasn't been announced though. Friend of my dads works for the gaa.

    Section: 717 Row: Z Seat: 1

Same height but you'll be closer as you're around the corner to the right.

It is high up, but I will say that you'll actually have a great vantage point of the whole thing, the lights, the fireworks etc. Plus the sound in Croke Park is better higher up you go.

I saw U2's 360 gig from the nose bleeders, and it was excellent!

Binoculars? you would the Hubble telescope sitting there. At least you will be able to hear them every time the Garda helicopter effs off for a few minutes.

from the front they go A-Z then AA-WW

Seatwave and viagogo prices much higher here than UK, we have a lot more monkeys willing to pay stupid money to attend events, the old event junkies

I'm hearing that the reason for no second Croke Park Show (Yet!) is down to a couple of nights being reserved for Garth Brooks in July. Makes sense, if true!

Had a look at that map on seat wave, managed to pick up seats in lower hogan 327, what would view be like there?:/

Had a look on ticketmaster there. Got a ticket for lower cusack - Section 308. So they are randomly going on sale again. Could only get 1. I tried a couple of times to put in multiple amounts, but no good. Seems like they are selling off isolated seats i.e. ones that's are still available after this mornings rush, but which have no vacancies adjacent to them.

Somebody else paid 330 per ticket plus fees for Block 722 in the Davin stand .
Imbeciles ,its people like this that are a huge part of the problem too.
9 months to go to the gig and they are panic buying.

Tried to get 4 tickets this morning but ended up getting 4 for the Cardiff gig on the 12th of July for 288 sterling.
Hotels are pricey but i'm happy i bit the bullet cos it now looks like there's not gonna be a 2nd Dublin gig.

    Hotels are pricey

Just had a look on booking.com for those dates and some hotels have been booked over 200 times today .
Weakness of Sterling would add to the number of overseas people going to it.
