Showers not heating properly

OK so my showers won't heat properly when I use the gas but when I use the immersion it's fine. All other hot taps are fine when using either. Any ideas???

Is there a thermostat fitted to your hot water cyclinder. Try turning it up, or maybe its dodgy.
