Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Much better

Also need to target van der Hoorn. He's great in the air but slow as feck turning and running. Isolate and get him on his heels and we'll find joy

    That's more like it lads.

As if we're ever winning that cross.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,983 ✭✭✭✭NukaCola

A better delivery from Sturridge and that would have been a perfect move

  • Subscribers Posts: 32,855 ✭✭✭✭5starpool

Stupid foul from Coutinho. I hate those stupid things that give opposition players the opportunity to go down with very little contact to get the free. Really irritating.

    Yellow card for Swansea!

Klopp must have given too much away on mnf,Swansea have our number hear

Stupid dive from Sturridge. Slight contact, but blatantly overplayed.

That probably was a dive in fairness.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Whether it's a penalty or not it's not a dive

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,689 ✭✭✭bur

obstruction, booked Henderson for the exact same foul.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,983 ✭✭✭✭NukaCola

Yellow is harsh he went down easy all right but there was contact

Of course it was a dive. Did the contact force him to lose his footing?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,308 ✭✭✭Pyjamarama

Thats not a dive. There's contact and he went down under it. Madness. Games like this really make you question certain things.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,466 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

That's no dive. Contact was made while Sturridge had two feet off ground, that contact pushed him off balance

Routledge arm was on Sturridge and leans into him but it's not a penalty or a dive.

Lightly touched on the chest and his legs went from under him it's a dive.

    Time for calm heads here.

Keep on the ball, keep passing and chances will come.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,497 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Nice to know what it feels like to have Neuer in goal. Bit of a thrill ride.

As blatant a dive as you will ever see, definite yellow card imho

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,983 ✭✭✭✭NukaCola

    Swansea are getting lucky now....

  • Subscribers Posts: 32,855 ✭✭✭✭5starpool

I think it was a dive, others don't, doesn't matter though, it wasn't given.

Henderson in the box, no pressure, kicks it back to them in our half.

  • Subscribers Posts: 32,855 ✭✭✭✭5starpool

We've done better the last 10 mins, but we could easily concede again.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,983 ✭✭✭✭NukaCola

That was shocking from Henderson......need to clear your lines better there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,212 ✭✭✭shamrock55

Is ings on the bench,I'd have him instead of Firmino who is poor today tbf

Undeserved equaliser before halftime would be nice.

Coutinho final ball has been awful.......

    just not clicking today.

Very bad first half from Liverpool, credit to Swansea mostly for stopping us play.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Sturridge goes down too easily, dive. Mané stays up when fouled, so no penalty. It's a tricky one.

Has one of those days written all over it, hope we can pull a point back and not concede more at this rate...

Dropped deeper now with Lallana off.
He is finding his target with pass but it break down pass later.

The Mane thing would have been extremely soft as well if it was given.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,438 ✭✭✭livinginkorea

Glad that's over...Klopp will give them a good telling off now. We have some luck down the right side but the final ball has been poor.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,983 ✭✭✭✭NukaCola

    Not a nice first half.

    Early goal.
Poor play in the final third.
    Lallana gone off.
Ref listening to the crowd/Poor Linesman decisions.

However, much better play in the final 10 minutes. Plus Swansea come out and play a bit.

At this point I'd take a point. Unfortunately its hard to call, we can rip a team apart in a few minutes but we've also shown we can completely fail to click. Need a big second half here.

Yea, frustrating, the movement for him isn't great either to be fair.

Firmino could have a moment or two of magic yet.

With Lallana off we are now limited enough..... the bench is now Mignolet, Klavan, Moreno, Lucas, Can, Origi.

Klavan and Lucas will bring nothing to the pitch in this game a goal down.

Can't see Moreno being brought on unless we are still a goal down with 10 mins to go and Klopp reckons it's worth risking conceding for his pace down the left.

Origi might come on but unless he's showing some of last year's form in training than there's little point but two up top would be worth a go imo if we are still trailing midway through 2nd half.

Great informed post as Ings is not even in the squad.

You don't think Firmino cannot still do something in this game.

Also, completely ignore how Swansea are closing down on Liverpool and causing them problems.

Don't shoot the messenger son , you should be pissed at sturridge , not me, if it was me I would stay on my feet and get the shot away. No brainer

We wont be getting any big decisions unless its absolutely stonewall. Both would be soft anyway lets be honest.

Sky talking rubbish about zonal marking yet again.

Very disappointing performance so far. Lethargic out there. Need to just blank that half and start again.still in the game thankfully but we need more from Countinho mane & firmino

Thought that was a nice throw back there alright.......Saunders giving tips on defending set pieces was particularly enjoyable.
