Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Well hard fought win.

Jaysus Karius should have come for that.

Was thinking the same thing. For a keeper who is meant to like coming off his line he's been a bit too cautious at times.

    Karius no better the mignolet

Was just thinking the same. Another flapper

    Karius no better the mignolet

He's young and new. He might not be now but its not just about that. He'll improve. And if he doesn't Mignolet comes back in.

We showed character today that Brendan Rodgers would've been proud of.

Swansea were very good in the first half but we were even better in the second.

How the fcuk did he miss that?

It would be a disgrace if Swansea sacked Guidolin on the back of that performance. Swansea were very good today.

Ok so we won the 2nd 30min period. Level with 1 30min period to go

    Focus on winning next 30mins

Won the 3rd 30min period. Job done.

As they say, it's a game of 3 halves

They didn't show up for the second half at all. I can't remember too many attacks. Defended well and sat very deep.

Without playing at their best and against a very willing and plucky Swansea Liverpool showed a lot of character today.

We played them off the field I'm the second half. Closed down every pass and hassled and harried every player.

Klopp earned us a win at half time.
    AMAZING

    Karius no better the mignolet

Nonsense. He's so much better with his feet for starters, no more of that faffing about on the ball for twenty seconds before launching a hopeless punt up field that barely makes it past the half way line. He flapped at one although did get an elbow in the face.

Incredible lack of patience. Karius poor on crosses so far but he has played THREE games for the club.

Great win though. Our fitness level's are superb.

It's one thing to turn up against teams like City and Liverpool, where you have nothing to lose and will generally lose anyway.

It's another to bring that level of performance to games against their rivals to avoid the drop.

But it would be farcical to sack him at this stage. At the very least he needs to show if he can keep these performances going for a spell.
It's not like they're bottom with 0 points.

Joint top in goals scored, 13th in goals conceded.

Amazing start to the season for Liverpool. 16 points from 21 and have already been to Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs. Klopp has them rolling.

At the moment he's not a better keeper than mignolet.
He's young and new to premier league and I'm sure he will adapt just like DDG did when he arrived.

He won't get better or used to the PL without playing games.

    Yeah that's true
Just gotta keep him in the firing line to improve

Anyway aside from the small goalkeeping issue it's a super result. A result we would not have gotten in previous seasons
