Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi folks,

QQ if we convert and existing garage to be part of the house. Would we then need permission to build a new garage?

Quick answer, no. Standard garage exemptions like 25 sq. metres apply as always.

Is the garage attached to the rear or side of the house? Have you previously extended your house? If so check out Schedule 2 part 1 of the Planning and Development Regs 2001, as amended.
