Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

ICAI exemptions (CAP1) for ACCA students

Hi. I am a university senior student in China and I would like to apply for Macc in University College Dublin. As far as I know, to be qualified,I need full exemptions for CAP1. But my university is in China and the 2.1, 2.1 honor thing for university doesn't apply for it. The criteria listed in ICAI website cannot provide the information needed for my case.
Good thing is that I am almost an ACCA finalist. I have passed F1-9 and P1-5 except P3. I am yet waiting for the exam result for P3, which will come out on 17th this month.
So, I would like to know if I am or will be eligible for the exemptions. I have sent an email to ICAI but the reply mail is taking forever :( and the application for Macc has started.
    Thank you all :)

    Hey,

If I were you I'd go to CAI website and you can check your exemptions there. Personally I don't think you could get any exemption if you didn't go to college in Ireland.

You need to send an email to the people running MAcc that's going to be the best for you. The email you have sent to ICAI is not relevant to them you are not applying to any of their programs you are applying to someone else Master.
