Really for the new belt to get over it does need a Crash Holly type guy chasing it and holding it.

If you look at my post in smackdown thread I think drake maverick might be that guy

From the second Mick Foley took it our of the bag the belt wasn't over. It's a comedy title in a company that most of the time can't do comedy well & where it's already hard to remember who the tag, US & I.C. champions are.

The company can't. When wrestlers are left to their own devices on social media they often can. Big E, Becky, IIconics etc.

Social media is where the belt will shine and that's fine.

the show is a load of fúcking bollocks, and the 24/7 title is the physical manifestation of the fúcking loads of bollocks it is.

Vince and creative either just don't give a shít or they are diabolical at their jobs.

how you have the roster they have and have a largely unwatchable wrestling show is a miraculous feat. they should almost be proud.

    fúcking idiots.

So will Renee get punished on air tomorrow on RAW for her hubby turning up on AEW?

Nattie to an extent for Bert turning up maybe.

Both made to shave each others back or something like that.

Is Shane the Raw GM or one of the "4" SD guys who can show up on Raw?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,960 ✭✭✭Autecher

I read an article about Meltzer saying Vince is "ungodly furious" with the WWE wrestlers who tweeted about Double or Nothing last night so we may see some punishments on Raw & Smackdown this week. He mentioned Peyton Royce, Karl Anderson, Matt Hardy Renee Young & Sasha Banks.

The phrase "ungodly furious" is so hyperbolic that it made me laugh, even more so when I saw the picture they put with the article

He'll do nothing, if it's even true. Too many wrestlers to punish for one thing since a load of wrestlers, including current champions, indirectly tweeted about it.

WWE will punish Bret by calling him Bert for the rest of his life :pac:

It'd be like that episode of The Simpsons when Bart's looking for a name plate, but all he finds is Bort ones.

    :pac:

The only meaningful punishment is getting fired and that's probably exactly what a huge chunk of the WWE roster wants right now.

Turns out that treating your "independent contractors" like garbage isn't a great move.

In 5 years time the WWE roster is going to be just Shane and Roman putting on different wigs and ring-gear and pretending to be various different characters because everyone else will be long gone.

First thing I thought when I seen Moxley on Double or Nothing was ah Renee will be barking like a dog live on Raw for that one...

As good for wrestling as this would be, it's unfortunately far more likely AEW won't exist in 5 years and they'll all be heading back with their tails between their legs begging to be buried on whatever 5th grade hour long jobber show is a 'network exclusive'.

Punk left under worse circumstances and AJ Lee was still treated the same, might be different now with the chance of competition

Debating whether I should stay up for Raw tonight. Seems to be **** atm

Brock is announcing Seth as his cash-in for the desert house show making a blockbuster announcement tonight!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,787 ✭✭✭SureYWouldntYa

Why are they ruining a years worth of MITB fun for a rematch that could just happen anyway

Its been ages since we’ve had a proper holder, Rollins himself really

Same with the women it was a waste of another year with it cashed in on the night again

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,611 ✭✭✭✭ERG89

Nah it's Shelton. Hope people get that joke, it is quite old.

Rematch with Seth, cash in on Kofi, wins 24/7 title, wins IC title #Brock4Belts

He barely defends a belt 7 days a year, never mind 24/7. :)
Speaking of, have there been any 24/7 title attempts during the week?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,678 ✭✭✭lawlolawl

Lesnar is winning the title tonight because Vince still thinks that people give even half a **** about him.

That's going to be the big "shock" to attempt to knock the wind out of AEWs sails.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 61,007 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

More US military propaganda by the WWE.

The military money must be good for Vince.

After the revelations last week about rape Vince has no shame.

Thought Kofi would've sold the beatdown a bit.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,912 ✭✭✭Deeper Blue

I can't buy Kofi as a main eventer at all

And how bland is Rollins these days? Christ

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 61,007 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Brock is mighty when he wants to be.

    Brock Party :)

No matter how rarely he shows up Lesnar just has a thousand times the presence and charisma of Kofi and Seth combined and that's without him even saying a word.

Gotta celebrate the US troops that get killed in wars that get started over terrorist attacks on the US that are funded by the good ole KSA.

Blood Money 3, airing this weekend on the WWE Network!

Lesnar sucks and is one of the major reasons why WWE ratings are in the toilet.

No one wants to see some disinterested part-timer who obviously doesn't give two ****s about the business work the same tedious "match" over and over.

I admire his ability to hustle a multi-billion dollar corporation whilst putting in the absolute bare minimum of effort but if he disappeared from the wrestling landscape tomorrow it would be no loss whatsoever.

Canadian Renee being as Yankee Doodle Dandy as you can get for the US military.

Tbf WWE's booking of babyfaces is so f**king toxic they can't even suceed in getting a cancer survivor cheered every week, last year their most popular babyface of the last decade Daniel Bryan returned after years out & they squandered him in around a month.
Like that's proper incompetence of the absolute highest level. Up there with WCW turning Goldberg heel shortly after he returns from a 6 month injury or not knowing what to do aftet signing Bret Hart post Montreal & Vince asking Stone Cold to job to Jonathan Coachman.

The last 15-20 minutes have been this...

Backstage segment with Shane and Drew who make their entrance. Shane decides to go the back again.

    Ad break.

Shane makes his entrance. Enters Rings. 5 minute long promo package for HHH vs Orton. Shane gives possibly the most boring 5 minute long promo of the year before saying his opponent is up next.

    Ad break.

Think I'm done with WWE for a while. What the fúck am I doing watching this?

Hey now, Roman had a good two shows were he didn't get booed out of the arena! That's literally the best they've ever managed with him.

I actually feel bad for him. I've heard interviews with him and he seems like a good dude. It's not his fault that he is being pushed far beyond his abilities because he is related to The Rock.

His ceiling is half a mediocre tag team that gets a match on Main Event now and then

"AEW" and "this is awful" chants.

Guess that's what 50 odd minutes of no wrestling on your wrestling show gets you.

US Military rocks thank you for your service and dying for you Country however we will be taking a billion in blood money off the men who paid for 911 while also taking money off the US Military to promote them.

"We're taking womens wrestling seriously but completely ignoring that it exists at all when it comes to the country that thinks that women should solely be subservient baby factories.

Also, Balor Club is for everyone! Except when we're working in the country that literally murders gay and trans people!"

The fans can ask any question they want no holds bared no questions out of bounds.

Not one fan asked about AEW.

Fair play to Sammi who did actually mention AEW.

This video of Roman Reigns' biggest wins has gotten 8,500,000 in only 3 days. That is why he is pushed the way he is. Anyone who generates views and money like that should pushed as the biggest star because that's exactly what he is.
