Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I did laugh when I seen someone say she got Seth pregnant

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,313 ✭✭✭✭CastorTroy

I was thinking if she announces she's pregnant you could imagine the chants Seth would get, then I remembered there's no one there to chant.
Remember when Daniel Bryan was meant to make an announcement 2 or 3 weeks in a row and it never happened?

Didn't Daniel Bryan say something in his retirement speech a few years ago about Brie, and the crowd chanted That's what she said, or am I remembering something else entirely?

I can’t remember what it was but the crowd said that I’m pretty sure

    PWInsider saying she's
vacating the title to Asuka tonight. They also said they know the reason but are choosing to respect her privacy by not revealing it. Pregnancy, I guess?

Rumour mill going into overdrive. Pregnant? Injured? Off to Hollywood? Or WWE throwing something out to pop a rating?

    The Man Preggers :P

Grand for the short term but hopefully he doesn't go on for ages

I wonder was last night sort of a face turn for Seth Rollins cause of the rumoured situation. Happy hyper daddy Rollins

Sami stuck in Canada? stripping him of the title? Wonder why they didn't strip Devlin of the Cruiserweight title if so, instead of doing the interim title

Lads, is gifting spoons to a pregnant woman a thing in Ireland? I've never heard of it in my life but Reddit seems convinced it is because Becky tweeted a cryptic picture of a spoon a while back and this is apparently an ancient Irish tradition?

I've now seen the rumours and pregnancy being mentioned. Becky did become the longest reigning champion in this era for women recently. So it could be that.

Great news. Perfect time to go and have a kid rather than risk being involved in this bullsh*t during a f*cking pandemic. Delighted for her.

    Ah, that was nice.

I imagine that's Becky's full-time wrestling career over though which is a shame.

Live events were pretty much done away with before the pandemic. Being a full time wrestler in years to come will be 4 TV's and a PPV a month. Lacey Evans manages it, so why can't Becky?

from joyess scenes to Lashley vs Humberto in a no dq match

You would think Rollins would of been there ? suppose his current gimmick is dead in the water now

on one hand the becky announcement would have got a hell of a pop from a live audience but on the other you would have loads of smarky idiots trying to ruin it cos they already know the news from the internet

Just saw this posted elsewhere; Asuka is now arguably the most accomplished woman's wrestler in WWE history...

    NXT Champion for 500+ days.

    Broke Goldberg's undefeated streak.

    Smackdown Champion.

    Raw Champion.

    Tag team Champion.

    Royal Rumble winner.

    MITB winner.

Yea, he's a tool. Type of lad that takes his $500 replica belt to a wrestling show to parade around like he won it in the main event at Wrestlemania. ( sorry not sorry to replica belt owners - keep em at home )

I don't have one (if I win the lotto, I'd buy the Big Gold one) but why keep them at home? The one time you can take one out in public is when you're going to a wrestling show, surely?!

fair enough I guess .. the belts just have a stigma attached to them for me cos they're often attached to the annoying youtube personality types

Well here's hoping they will let Asuka run with it to the best of her ability given the current circumstances and not feed her to someone like Baszler.

I always hate when they just hand the title over to someone. Could they not have had a tournament for new womens champ?

Could have Asuka get to the final, lose it and then cash in her MITB afterwards

I'm fine with it, like technically Asuka could have just cashed in on Becky there and then and got the title. The twist about the title being in the briefcase is something new at least and it was a nice moment. Besides, there already was a tournament to get into MITB and Asuka came out on top, it makes sense.

That was actually a really good Raw overall.
Interested to see where the Seth angle is going and hoping that scuffle means Austin Theory is getting booted out of the stable.
Delighted for Becky, Rollins putting another wrestler on the shelf :pac:

Be very interesting to see where her career goes from here.

I thought they handled it well given the circumstances. The women all qualified for a title match, they just didn't know it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,121 ✭✭✭The Ayatolla

Yeah it was good having the belt in the actual briefcase.

Becky's crying did look a bit staged and a bit out of sync with having no live crowd, but whatever. Best of luck to her.
