    What was Goldbergs actually arguing?

This version of Drew seems very respectful to his past peers

So read that The Goldberg promo was supposed to be in response to a Drew promo earlier in the show the only problem being the WWE needed to cut time as they were over running and decided cut Drew's promo.

The WWE really is a sh1t show.

Goldberg vs anyone in 2020 at the top of the card says it all. WWE have no faith in the talent and never give them a fair shake.

Lee had a great TV match with Drew. Id rather see that at the Rumble again or instead of the Raw match than old man Bill being booked on par with Drew.

    Its bollox.

What’s likely to happen with Goldberg? Are they really going to have him get destroyed by Drew and that’ll be it? Somehow I doubt it and he’ll feature prominently in the mania shake up..
They’ve turned McIntyre into such a knob.. him fawning over Hogan was almost unwatchable.. the fawning over the legends in general was just awful.. wtf was that let at the start with Hogan and the phone?

Drew is Raw's top face so his interaction with at least a "legend" like Hulk Hogan made some sense imho

I'd love to see Sheamus get another world title reign, have him win the RR or EC then face Drew at WM if Drew is keeping the title until WM

Should of been some improvisation by one or both guys

Goldberg could of just speared Drew without saying anything or Drew with a claymore

Wonder who's fault I was with the time keeping

WWE Legends night was woeful as an event. Having past wrestlers around for the sake of it was pointless.

Its just crazy how bad it is. AEW prove its not rocket science to book a logical yet entertaining show.

WWE is an over produced mess headed by a past his prime owner who has lost his touch years ago. The absence of fans has really highlighted just how poor the company is.

The lack of fans also must contribute to how Vinces rates the shows. He has no fans giving immediate direct feedback or reactions. He is going off his gut and those around him and it shows hes lost it. Not that we didnt know that already.

I know Alvarez and Meltzer can be cringey marks at times but they were spot on what they said here; they have Orton going around besmirching all the legends yet it's McIntyre that's gets bitched over something he didn't ****ing do!!

    Ludicrous.

Smart thing eoukd be for Drew to point that out and expose Goldberg as a title chaser rather than a white knight of disrespectful former pros.

But when do WWE do the smart thing :D

I’d love if Drew told Goldberg to piss off and if anyone needs to learn anything about respect, it’s bill, who turns up every year, goes straight into the main event, jumps ahead of full time stars. Plus his last couple of matches v taker and arrow man are amonsgst the worst of all time

They'd probably allow Reigns to cut such a promo on Oldberg anyway. Drew was lucky to get that dad comment in at the end which is why it was so funny, as I just wasn't expecting it.

    Funny cause its true.

A fit, in his prime champ like Drew should be steam rolling him.

Though WWE will let Goldberg either go toe to toe with Drew or worse.... take the title from Drew. Which makes Drew and everyone he ever beat in the last year look less than a 60 year old former star, who was made look like a chump to HHH 17 years ago.

Isolation period 10 to 14 days so unless he gets a bad dose he should be back for the rumble

Drew will only have to wrestle like 90 seconds anyway, be grand :)

People jumping to conclusions and thinking Drew will forfeit the title

He can just do skype/home interviews each week til he's cleared

WWE advertising Drew will “address the crowd” tonight, which is usually code for a relinquishing...

Also saying Triple H will be kicking off the show.

Maybe they are using it as an excuse to take the title off him without Drew taking an loss.

Drew returns and wins Rumble perhaps. That said no point in him forfeiting if he can make the rumble.

Unless hes badly affected, theres no obvious reason for him to relinquish the title unless they want to take the title off him or they have cause to beieve hes not able to make the rumble.

Goldberg Orton at Rumble if Drew drops it.

He'd better not be relinquishing the title. Not because I really want him to keep it, but more because how many weeks did Brock go without defending?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,211 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

Odds on him saying "Time to shake things up" or words to that effect?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 87,288 ✭✭✭✭JP Liz V1

Lesnar barely defended the title, Drew should not have to give up the title

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,819 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

are we getting Triple H vs Goldberg ?

    christ that would be ****

  • Registered Users Posts: 773 ✭✭✭TimesArrow

Triple H “I still got it.. listen to them”

Theyre pumping in the chants ffs

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,832 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

The fake crowd noise is so distracting.

Lacey switches from Heel to Face to Heel more than The big Show ever did.
