    The Order 1886.

Probably better there are no leaks after people getting their hopes up last month after the "leak".

  • Registered Users Posts: 175 ✭✭Withrax

We are getting "That's You". You heard it here first

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,468 ✭✭✭Niska

Almost time for the announcement and still no leaks. Which is unusual...

'Best ever' - plus two articles about HZD on the blog... couldn't be?

    Nah. Course not.

March PS Plus, pretty ****in good! :D:

    Bloodborne (PS4)
    Ratchet and Clank (PS4)
    Legend of Kay Anniversary (PS3)
    Mighty No. 9 (PS3 and PS4)
Claire: Extended Cut (PS Vita and PS4)
Bombing Busters (PS Vita and PS4)

  • Registered Users Posts: 29,137 ✭✭✭✭CastorTroy

    And from their blog post
We also have an important service update to share. Starting next year on 8th March 2019, the PS Plus monthly games line-up will focus on PS4 titles and no longer include PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita titles.

Wow, that's great, pity I have the top 2 games already. What are the rest like?

    That's a good haul.

Also, there will be no more PS3 or Vita games from PS Plus from March 8th 2019 (next year).

Good lineup! Might be pick up the BB DLC if it goes cheap in the future. Was mad to try mighty no 9 and Claire sounds ok. I never played ratchet and clank, never appealed to me.

Brilliant lineup. I picked up Bloodborne over the christmas period and im loving it. It'll be great to see the BB thread more active again. Everyone there has played and finished it except me:pac:

That is horrible news. I hope PS community fight back on that. Playstation are obviously trying to sell more PSN Now subs and sell more remasters.

    For the gamers, sigh.

Really awful, after all its not like people have been calling for the removal of PS3 and Vita titles and an emphasis on more PS4 games for awhile now. I think if Sony gave away the PS5 for free you'd find fault in it.

Will I miss the PS3 and Vita games, maybe but I have all the titles I want for both already. If this means an additional PS4 title a month then I'm all for it.

Nothing to do with the fact the ps3 will be 12 years old by the time they stop supporting it with ps plus and as for the Vita, which might as well have been discontinued 6 months after its launch, im sure people wont be too put out.

I agree. It seems as if Sony don't want a back catalog.
Still using that position of power they think they are still in.

What I can say is the PS4+ games lineup is still impressive however for March

I'm perfectly fine with it, should SHOULD mean much better PS4 games each month.

I wonder if they have an XBOX game pass countermove ready to go. It would explain this abrupt end to PS+ for a few million people.

I've been adding the PS3 games to my account in the hope one day sony might see sense and make stuff backward compatible. Fools hope I'd say.

I wonder too but this is the same company that thought Ea Access wasn't "for the players"

That was due to them having their own existing gaming service

If it means an additional PS4 title, grand. However, how often do companies do good things like that.

    Edit: Ya, no extra games.

  • Well then. Sony just gave the middle finger it seems.

I'm strongly considering getting an XBOX just for that service, had no interest until I heard about it. I can't be alone. I've heard it said by lots of industry pundits that a netflix style system is the future. It's funny how Nintendo haven't got a virtual console in place yet for Switch. They could be setting up the same thing.

I can see EA Access on the PS4 sooner rather than later, or else see it included as part of some extended PSN subscription service.

Yeah really wasn't happy the way Sony turned down EA access. Also let us change our psn FFS!

Honestly, don't mind the loss of the PS3 and Vita games, which still have another year left, so I think it has been supported well beyond it's time.

Happy enough for R&C, even though I played it not too long ago. Same for MN9, been mad to play that for a while. Bloodborne can suck a giant one. Never heard of the other 2!

Considering the PS4 has been out for over 4 years, over 70m consoles sold if I remember right... Stopping PS3 games is no big deal. They've probably also given away every PS Vita game away for free by now anyway.

So long as the quality of games for PS4 start going up, I think it's a great move. Bloodborne and Ratchet & Clank could be a great step in that direction. Almost pulled the trigger on buying R&C a few times, especially after I finished Crash. Will definitely pick it up this time.

After 70 million consoles being sold shouldn't they be adding more value to their services rather than less. It can't be killing them to provide PS3 & PS Vita titles each month.

"Horrible" is a tad melodramatic isn't it? The PS3 is twelve years old, support had to come to an end sooner or later.

And for the Vita, Sony screwed the pooch on that one long ago, it's already dead. I already have a huge backlog of "free" Vita games to play and since nobody makes games for it anymore they would soon run out of games to give away at all.
