I assume we'll still have to pay for maps on multilayer or are they free now?

The thing with the ps3 and vita games is some were cross platform so could be played on ps4. So technically they cut ps4 games from 4 or more down to 2

I swore I'd never play another COD ever again but the fact Activision won't profit from this makes me highly interested. Is the MP still active, probably not?

Have the Witness which is great but am happy with COD as have been tempted a few times to bite on it.

Don't think it's a flat fee, think Sony pay out more when stuff is actually downloaded.

Indeed, Sony pay a fee per copy purchased on ps+.

The Witness is one of the greatest games I’ve played - among the handful of games in the last few years that really helped me reevaluate what the medium has to offer (in company with Breath of the Wild, The Last Guardian and Return of the Obra Dinn among a few others). The sheer design rigour of the thing - to take the most basic possible gameplay idea and extend it in a plethora of smart and brilliant ways - is one thing. But the layers of revelation, secrets and philosophical ponderings buried in and around the unassuming island are quite unlike anything else I’ve experienced: the kinda game where one curious observation literally completely reshaped my understanding of what was going on in it. It has its critics, many with perfectly reasonable points. But it’s a game I disappeared into for a month, and emerged reenergised.

Although personally eager to take CoD Remastered for a spin ;) MW was a clear highlight of the series, before it disappeared into gimmickry. Outside of its spiritual successor Titanfall, no competitive shooter I’ve played has ever felt so perfectly balanced and compulsive. Never could bring myself to support Activision’s grubby practices in releasing the thing, but happy to boot up some of those old maps come next week.

Never understood the praise for the witness. Normally games like this are right up my street but this left me scratching my head.

Just to rob that particular part of your quote, I think this is why I didn't like it. I don't get the philosophical and hidden meanings in games. I don't read into them. All I got from this was a massive puzzle game with no help or direction. It was interesting for a while, but I gave up out of sheer frustration. Wasn't for me. Too many other games to play and too much anime to watch in order to give this game too much time, which is what it needs imo.

I might add The Witness to my library. Have to say I've never even considered it before but if it's as good as people are saying, I'll give it a shot. Won't be in a rush to play it though.

The Witness made me feel spectacularly dense after a while.

I consider myself an intelligent person but I am awful at puzzle games, I don't think I have the patience for them! I may try The Witness but I suspect that I'll give up fairly early on.

This is what I love about PS Plus; it pushes you towards experiences you wouldn't normally have considered.

Looking forward to giving The Witness a spin.

Games are always announced on the last Wednesday of the month (around 4pm).

Games are always available on the first Tuesday of the month.

Is there a single player campaign in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered and is it worth playing? I have no interest at all in multiplayer.

They're in the ps+ section now, just downloaded them from the app. Looking forward to MW, haven't played it in years

Yeah there is. It's still one of the best, if not THE best COD campaign in the whole series. MP is surprisingly fun as well, worth giving a shot.

A 75GB download for Modern Warfare. Seriously where is all that data coming from?
Can't be bothered downloading all that.

Modern Warfare multiplayer is eh... not fun at all. Just a lad with a sniper rifle picking you off every time you spawn.

Ya can **** off with that ****e

It’s newb hunting season for them, what did you expect? It happens for every game with MP on plus or even the trial weekends some games have. I hate the phrase but ‘git gud’. A couple of matches practice and that guy with the sniper rifle will be getting knifed in the neck before he sees you :D

    And delete!

Played it enough when it came out TWELVE YEARS AGO.

It hasn't aged well. Single player seems fine, but I'm not doing it again.
