It looks like they were planning on giving Detroit: Become Human instead of Pro Evo on Plus this month. If you log onto the store now, the banner shows Horizon Chase Turbo and Detroit: Become Human.

Very strange. I was actually looking forward to Pro Evo but I suppose Detroit: Become Human would appeal to more people. I see it also includes Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls. I think we got both of them on Plus at some stage a while ago?

I bought the disc version of Detroit new from Amazon on release day! It's still in the plastic! Going to sell it to CEX now before it's totally worthless!

I would have preferred PES too, wonder what happened there?

Fantastic! I nearly picked up Detroit numerous times but just never pulled the trigger on it. Will definitely be adding it to the library. A weird move to make though. Wonder what happened?

As Detroit is published by Sony, it was the 'in case of fire' failsafe. (Wonder what the failsafe is now... God of War? Horizon? )

Happy with Detroit - almost bought it once or twice.

It is a bit sh*tty that they're putting it on PS+ right after it's been on sale, whatever their reasons were for having to replace PES with something else.

Ah, I got Detroit on the US store for 8 dollars so only cost me about 6 euro so not the end of the world but i was really looking forward to PES. I don't think I'll even bother downloading the horizon car game.

I believe you can get a refund on a game as long as you haven't downloaded it yet. Not sure if that's just for new games but might be worth looking into.

Strange move alright, and didn't expect to get the Digital Deluxe version if you have a look it's the only version on PS4. And doesn't come with Beyond: Two Souls, only Heavy Rain. Either way, a strange move and one that i'm not too bothered about as I wanted to try this. But if it was a game I already had that they changed PES with, I'd be rightly annoyed too.

For f<ck sake I'm raging PES was replaced. Bought Detroit a few weeks back in the sale. Have yet to play it. Already have Heavy rain too.

Did they bow to people complaining about Pro Evo? That's ****e if so. There's been many many months where they give games I've no interest in but I wouldn't demand a change once they are announced.

I see people are going mad on Twitter saying they traded in Pro Evo because they thought they were getting it free today. What a way to threat your customers.

Pro would be the best game they've released in months to tell the truth.

That game is for the Kuwait subscribers instead of Detroit. According to the small T&C's on the store blog from a previous poster above.

Not just Hidden Agenda that's swapped out for some countries.

The version of Detroit we get is the deluxe version which comes with heavy rain, but heavy rain isn't in some countries they get beyond two souls.

So since we got beyond before, plus has now given us all 3 games.

Id say the opposite,if you have played one janky ass badly written choice simulator,you have played them all,at least PES is an actual game:P

Not really that bothered by the swap tbh,not too hot for either game. Ill give detroit a try but wont be holding my breath

Not a football fan so personally, prefer this. Bummer for anyone waiting for PES. Any official statement yet?

I was thinking it was really quick since it only came out this year, but google says it came out May 2018. Doesn't feel that way

Couldn't find anything official other than they are changing it, didn't say why. Some sites reporting due to fan backlash, but the more I try to find something solid, the less likely I feel it was due to fan backlash.

I’m actually kind of pissed at that, was looking forward to PES but at least I didn’t buy Detroit when it was on sale recently. Can’t see myself ever playing it though, given the complete lack of gameplay.

It was probably a case of the deal falling through to get PES, but if it turns out it was actually done because of a few moaners, I guess I’ll be taking to Twitter to campaign against all the twin-stick shooter, walking simulator and side scrolling shovelware they announce from now on, simply because I’m not a fan of those. :pac:

I don’t think fan backlash registers with Sony at all so I’m doubtful it was because of that. They certainly weren’t listening to it a few years back when it was month after month of ****ty indie games

I'd say it was pulled with the new PES due out in two months and the demo due in three weeks.

Whilst die hards will obviously stick with it and get the new iteration regardless, there's a risk Konami cannibalise their own market if anyone was on the fence.

Then again, the last minute change probably counters that argument as they wouldn't have agreed in the first place.
