Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Aw that deserved a goal. Great ball and bullet header.

Should have kept himself on there.

No no no, that's down the wing --> cut inside --> square it back just outside the small box. :p

Or at least it was, played FIFA for the first time in donkeys years a few months back and didn't know what I was up to. It seemed very slow and disconnected, not sure the higher framerate works for it. :o

I'm all about the PES these days.

We've had one disallowed (rightly) and if Long headed better could have had another again, both since the goal.

But yeah, really want a second ASAP. :o

How long till Georgia get their inevitable equaliser?

Randolph will hoof it every time
A simple ball to fullback perhaps?

It's woeful. I only use it for these games, really, and it's only then that I remember how frustrating it is. It stops and starts if you're lucky. If you're not so lucky it just stops.

And, oh yeah, I complied with RTE's request to disable my adbocker on my browser, and still it won't play. I realise why the website is so shoddy is overall and it's because they've spent almost the whole budget on a super tech that detects not only adblock anywhere on your computer, but maybe also if it is installed on a neighbour's device or perhaps if you even think the word.

There are dodgy streams that will stream a game better. It's been like that for years but they've done nothing about it.

Jaysus Walters that was a simple ball to play. Touch of a moose.

    Walters is way off pace

    Get Murphy on

Said it a million times- Ireland are good when Coleman hits the byline on one flank with Brady putting in early crosses on the other. That's it. Midfield=wasteground

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,495 ✭✭✭✭Billy86

Time and again, all I could think was

    DON'T force the cross McClean.

No, DON'T force the cross McClean.

DON'T CROSS IT MCCL-- Oh christ he's shot it.

Not necessary at this point, play to dictate the game a bit more than blasting for 25-30 yards out. It's lie he had decided the ball was leaving him by a distance 20 seconds before, and that was that...

McLean broke there and the others stood and let him at it, until the inevitable 20 yard backpass

    Decent bit of possession

Holy crap. It's like the team were specifically instructed not to counter attack.

    Desperate.

    Ireland counter-attacking with the pace of an over-75 all-priest 5 a side.

Bring Wes on for Walters, let him play in the hole (wahey)

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

    Decent bit of possession

    It's so negative though
Going backwards and it's so slow

Nice turn from Walters, but if he got the 5 yard pass after it right it was almost surely a goal. Lovely pass from Long to get it through, and good passage of play though.

EDIT: Actually the pass wasn't on for Walters on the replay, McClean (I think?) should have made the run toward where the pass went.

We are at home to Georgia who look completely lost when we counter attack yet we are still hanging on. What's that they say about lucky managers?
