Pioneer SC-LX59 - HDR support

    Hi guys,

    I sent PM to Kenny yesterday evening but let me also ask here.

    I am thinking to buy Pioneer SC-LX59 amp. At the same time I want this to be future proof at least for things I want to do. So for example it has Dolby Atmos which will be my future setup also it has HDCP 2.2 so all good here.

    On top of this however I am not so sure about HDR/HDMI 2.0a. Press release which can be still found mention it is supported. On the Pioneer website for this model however there is no mention of HDR. So I am confused. I am planning to get HDR TV next year and if I am going to spend this amount for amp it need to support HDR.

    I do some massive search yesterday and some people confirmed that this is actually working. BD hdmi need to be used. Some other people saying that this should be upgradeable. 

    Anyway my question is - can you actually confirm this? Maybe hook up HDR BD player and check yourself?
    Is it possible?

    Also I still can see this amp on your website. Could you confirm it is still available and any chance for some deal on it?

    Hi B,

    I just sent you a PM on Kenny's behalf as he is off today. I contacted Pioneer directly and they have told me that HDR pass through is supported straight out of the box on the lx59 and above.

    I still have one in stock in the store brand new, if you want to PM me your details I can process that order for you.
