Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi all. Boiler leaking in Stanley Super star Range. It heats 15 rads fairly well but thinking of replacing it with a stove instead of replacing boiler. Does anyone know if I can get stove with greater kw output. Thanks

You can get stoves up to 30kw. Probably bigger

There's a thread on here dedicated to stoves only. Have a look

Is it a stove or a cooker/range you want OP?

Stanley don't do a cooker thats better than you have already afaik.

Thanks my3cents. Made a few calls today and apparently the boilers in the newer Stanley ranges are the same size so trying to decide whether to just change boiler or get a large stove.

We have an Errigal its an old Stanley design with a new name. If the old one works and looks OK I'd keep it. The castings in the new ones aren't always as good as they used to be.
