I guess the third Croke Park concert won't be happening ??

Can't see many major bands touring in 2018, as a lot are touring this year

Very strange... unless it was provisionally booked and then cancelled, it would seem a dumb move not to give a second night to U2 or Coldplay!

    The Second Coming?!?

    Rumour or confirmed event?

Possibly that, the stones had planned to tour stadiums in Europe and they postponed it for some reason

Looks like Jess Glynne is no longer headlining the Punchestown Festival
The previously billed Jess Glynne has been forced to cancel her appearance, due to recording commitments.

She did look a bit out of place on the bill.

Kasabian are playing Custom House Square in Belfast on the 22nd, a road trip to Belfast is sounding quite tempting.

Fantastic booking and another good summer of music in Belfast ahead.

Will try to get to both Muse and Kasabian and spend a few days up north.:D

Oddly enough only time I saw Kasabian live was supporting Muse. Personally wouldn't travel that far to see them (also combined with work etc) even though they're very good live, definitely a chance for people to take in Belfast/NI too. Also the fact that Custom House Square is a great venue for a gig helps.

I read today that this is sold out already

yep, says sold out when you try buy tickets.
capacity of the place is 4000 according to wikipedia, so probably 3000ish with a stage up.

Gorillaz announced a European tour today for November-ish but no Irish date in it. Surprised that them, Justice and Jamiroquai haven't announced any Irish dates yet. 3 acts I was really hoping to see in 2017.

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,023 ✭✭✭✭Exclamation Marc

Disappointed that there's no Irish date for Gorillaz as I'd drop everything to see them here after missing the last gig years ago when a mate let me down.

Picked up two tickets for Brighton gig though as it's an intimate venue, so I'm excited for that and the day trip!
