Hi all,

I know there was a thread previously around the whole physical therapist vs physiotherapist topic and it eventually got closed. However, with the relatively recent development whereby the Irish Government have decided to protect both titles - (https://www.iscp.ie/events-and-news/iscp-blog/press-release-minister-makes-key-decision-protect-both-titles) how does this affect the likes of the NTC course for physical therapy and it's graduates that have completed the course? Will they simply continue working under a different title such as sport massage or will they be able to seek accreditation from the ISCP (I presume this is unlikely).

Any advice / thoughts greatly appreciated.

They will likely have to change their title. ISCP will only give accreditation to those with a university degree
