They seem to have omitted the previous ending of the ad, a bunch of guitar wielding hipsters doing a homelessness fundraiser outside the GPO and some spiel about helping those without a home to call their own. I wonder why?

I utterly despise housing campaigners. Every single one of them is a spoofing arsehole, as not one of them will ever question the impact of undeserving non nationals on the availability of social, and ergo private, housing.

That ad for chewing gum where your man knocks on the daughter's bedroom door and she is inside with a guy. It seems to be on a lot again and I hate it.

I still can't think of a good reason for why they added on the bit where the father shakes hands with him. It's a bit creepy.

I hate those Aldi ads with the bitter women on about lamb and Easter eggs.

And somehow they remade the advert for the British and Irish market, but using different actors.

There's also an Aldi advert set in an elevator... where they're talking about Bord bia approved meats...

The blonde in the advert looked familiar, she's got the 'mom' look going on...

And then I realised it's a blonde wan' from the Meteor adverts years ago. (Memba' them-with the Brunette/ Raven haired wan' too?).

Plenty of undeserving nationals as well. (Where's me stables boss?) but that's for somewhere else.

Most annoying ad ever.. so many annoying things in the ad bug me.

    - The fairrrrr play to ya quote
    - the moves out of the old couple on the chair
    - they dont even say thanks to the delivery guy

Just curious about when the delivery guys do come with your food do they put it away for you in your fridge etc? Wouldn't be having that

No they don't. It's a very strange ad.

Jaysus, why'd you have to remind us of those gimps? They were bad enough but worse was to come.

"What dya what for Crimbo babe?"

And the horror that was Smugbeard.

The blonde actress later went on to appear in that AWFUL Samantha Mumba film 'Boy Eats Girl'... which flopped over here, and I think went to TV anywhere else.
(There were many excuses made for it It was a bad film, end of.)

Seems her career didn't exactly go anywhere in the last ten + years...she's still making adverts.

Don't know what annoys me more about that Three ad, the whingy tone of the child or the out of place African music.

Just found out a friend of mine is in that advert...

Andrew Scott tho... God, he took Moriarty from menacing to annoying to camp 1960s gay Batman villain.
Since then I can't take him seriously...he was also one of the biggest weaknesses in Spectre, a movie full of weaknesses.

Ladbrokes ad with the character who is definitely NOT "Iron Man" 'cause the Advertising Standards Authority banned them from using the Marvel character on the grounds it was designed to appeal to children whereas this one just appeals to idiots.

Well, that and they'd have to pay Marvel comics to use the character, and then pay for Robert Downey jr or a soundalike voice actor.
And Despite Marvel having no problems promoting the US military (as they did with Iron Man, and later Capt Marvel) I don't think they'd want the heroes associated with a gambling site.

That and Iron Man's comics dealt with addiction...and we all know the dangers of a gambling addiction....you wind up as a GAA footballer shooting hardcore gay pornography.

The TV version was banned by ASA in the Uk but they're allowed to use it in e-mails sent directly to existing customers aged 18+

    Oof...my apologies for doubting you.

Yeesh, not clever by Marvel or Ladbrokes to use a character with addiction issues to use for a campaign.

    Wow.

You're right, it's definitely her mother in law. The daughter in law mentions having eggs for her parents.

Saw a new ad for Aldi today based in Northern Ireland (I think). Absolutely shocking stuff. Makes you wonder who approves these things!
