I wish I had your level of tolerance!

Be thankful you do not have that posters apparent level of hearing loss.

waterford whispers had a thing on it

    http://waterfordwhispersnews.com/2017/09/13/poll-should-the-government-intervene-and-ban-that-****ing-an-post-ad/

I wondered if it actually was above allowable decibel levels, or if they had manipulated the sound somehow to stay within legal limits, I heard of this been done by advertisers before, the sound is changed so it sounds really loud but technically passes tests. You would expect more from a state postal service.

I suffer from Aspergers syndrome so that loud intrusive noises actually can cause very adverse reactions in people like me.

I have been sorely tempted to pick up and throw the TV through the window when that wretched ad comes on, also the ad for car insurance with the car alarms and that wretched lady coming to a halt at traffic lights imitating a soprano, just noisy and messily noisy.

I believe that ads should be screened with people who suffer from aspergers before being aired on public TV, similar to the way that flashing images now have to be prewarned before broadcasting to allow sensitive epilectics time to turn off the offending item and avoid suffering.

Have you considered turning off the TV?

Hardly a discussion when you told a poster to get over it for not liking the unbelievably AWFUL ad on a thread aptly named "Even more adverts you despise".
If you, for some strange reason like it, pop over to the Adverts we Like thread, yeah?

Why are you here in this thread if you have an issue with people not liking ads AS PER THE THREAD TITLE?

Who's responsible for that currently horrific ad with Jedward, Honey G, Wagner, and Sam 'pretty much blew her career' Wotserface.

    It's absolute cack.

    Discussion is perfectly fine.

Telling the other 99% of the thread contributors to get over themselves because you like the ad that is universally hated by everyone else, believe it or not may get you a frosty reception.

    Two posters = 99%. I see.

"Universally" hated- because you say so?

    Good thread this.

I've been as on topic as anyone else but its not my problem if some posters get upset at opinions different to theirs.

    Gone anyway - poor thread.

Ive said it before but I'll say it again. Boooking.com's "If you have to cancel, cancel! Most of of the time its free!". Most of the time. Most.

100% of the hotels I have booked in the past 12 months(About 4) have had a policy of charging you if you have to cancel. Either full price or a cancellation fee. So be careful out there folks.

I knew I couldn't be the only one to be skeptical of booking.com's claims.

That Fupping robot yoke saying "THIS CHRISTMAS" at the start of the Eir ad, really grinds my gears and I suspect that the robot was meant to be annoying and "memorable", terrible company, they put so much effort into ads and so little effort into their products, service or customer supports, if there is a hell there must be some poor souls doomed to an eternity of trying to deal with Eir over the phone.

Watched my brother deal with them for an hour one night-and get absolutely ****ing nowhere. He had a broken phone (it's still broken) and was trying to get it fixed. Got put onto service representative after service representative-and no resolution. Finally he lost his cool, and just gave them hell of it for not helping, and hung up. He let the contract expire, and went to a different operator. The phone will probably get donated to envirofone or something.

These two annoying ads show when I watched primetime FOX on Sunday.
"computers were more like phones" "What's a computer?"

    Really?

The Olay ad with "Jane". I think poor old Jane is looking a bit spaced out.
