Cyclocross wheels query

Just got a cyclocross bike with an Artemis 24 wheelset with 32mm cyclocross tyres. Can I remove them and replace them with 28mm road tyres.

Also the bike has 6 bolt rotors fitted as part of a disc brake set up. If I were to upgrade the wheelset, will wheels with centrelock hubs fit the current disc calipers, or do they have to be replaced too.

Thanks in advance for any help here.

Road tyres will be fine. You can swap wheels, but you may need to adjust the brakes.

Inner rim * 1.4-2.0 is approximate limits for tyre for any rim.

So 20mm inner width can take 28mm to 40mm for example. At a guess 28mm would be fine.

Rotor diameter is what matters, centre lock or 6 bolt is just the means of attaching to hub.

Yours are probably 140mm ish; check it'll be written on rotor.

    Enjoy your Colnago!

Thanks for that. Rotors are 160mm actually. Obviously that wheelset is only supplied on a Colnago!!!!!
