Outdoor PIR Sensor light giving problems

    There is an outdoor PIR motion sensor LED light at the front of the house that is giving me problems. It's setting itself off randomly at night and is on more than it's off. I adjusted the settings but it makes little difference.

    Not sure the brand but it looks cheap. Was already on the house when I moved it. There's no off switch on it or anywhere in the house.

    I've found the fuse it's connected to and it's marked sockets.

    In short I just want to knock the thing off and avoid getting an electrician out.

    Any suggestions please?

    Sorry meant to add. As its an LED bulb I can't for the life of me figure out how to get it out. :( I don't think the unit can be opened.

    Put a sock over the sensor, you may laugh but it works, ie cover the sensor with something safe, tape the sensor window up

    Switch all power off and disconnect then place cable connectors on cable ends and a junction box. If it's running straight from the sockets supply and no fused spur that's a big no.
