Just wondering if there are any Shark Evo One helmet owners out there, and if you've had any problems with the visor on it ?

I have, and see it widely reported online, but looking to see if anyone in Ireland had experienced it ?

I have a Shark Evo one, got it at the NEC last year. Not a moments bother on it at all.....in fact its kinda my go to helmet over my Arai and HJC. Only little niggle I have with it is that its a tad noisey when "Making Progress..shall we say" but then again its an modular open face helmet so its never gonna be as quite as a full face.

Would deffo buy a newer version when the time comes.

What issue do you have with yours?

Have you not experienced the issue where, worn open, visor up, that the Pinlock visor is touching the outside of the shell, fretting against it, and the visor gets scratched ?

I suspect without the Pinlock it might be fine.....it's going back to Cotters today for a warranty claim

Good to hear: I really like the helmet, and don't want to change: it's the first helmet I've bought in 20 years that fitted comfortably straight out of the box without modifying the foam.

pic of 'scuff' on inside of visor, here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/39368099/20161013_075323.jpg

video showing how little clearance there is between visor and shell in the open position: won't pass a paper envelope... https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/39368099/20161011_190357.mp4

Ahhh here, that envelope looks like a bank statment its so thick.....giz a loan of a few De Niros will ya!

But yeah thats strange, and its not as if they say you should not use a pinlock if it has the fittings for one.

    Lolz.
I bought it on an open day when the Shark factory truck was there: it was the Shark tech himself who fitted it. Plenty of articles on the 'net and even MCN had the same problem with their test one.
