Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi guys. Is anyone on here running a 97/98 Seat Arosa 1.0 as a daily driver. I'm thinking about buying one as a weekend driver. Just around town, lots of stops and starts. Any input would be appreciated. I would also think about the likes of a seicento or similar. Cheaponomics as I will have to get separate insurance. Thanks in advance.

It's the same as a polo mechanically. They're fine for tipping around.
Later ones have stuff like electric Windows/power steering etc.
The problem with seicentos is that they're not that strong structurally. If you have a bad crash in them they don't perform well at all.
Keep in mind thst insurance on an early arosa (98-01) could be loaded or refused entirely on the basis of age.

Daihatsu sirion might be an alternative.
