Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Are open book exams a fairer reflection on reality?

    Erm how do you mean?

Well, let me illustrate my point with an example if I may.

Suppose I go to a solicitor with a legal quandry. If life were like a conventional exam and they didn't know the answer from memory then they wouldn't be able to help me. However life is not like that and the solicitor could consult law books, colleagues and maybe even google to research what they didn't know and provide me with an answer and guidance as to how I should proceed. Ergo, if exams were open book would they not better
    reflect reality?

    Do you have any pets?

Ah :) Poor auld Persepoly poop head this morning. I see what you did with your next question :p

    It would of course.

No pets apart from human ones.

How many human pets should one person have?

Depends on how much sugar you can afford.
My eldest daughter and my youngest son just melt me every time they ask for or need something.

Does that make them my pets or me theirs?

Do you think they would be all handcrafted now?

I don't know what a rocky road is other than the one we traverse in life so I'll say a brownie.

Do you prefer a shiny or matt finish?

I think that sums them up fairly well. I was never a fan though and I didn't wear Grolsch bottle caps on my shoes:D

Did you have a favourite bar/cafe to hang out in with your friends back then?

Anything by Bon Jovi, Ace of Base, any whiney white dude with a guitar (gavin james, Ed sheeran etc)

Name a song you would stay in the car to listen to even though you'd reached your destination.

There's too many to mention. There's company I ring every so often and I tell them to leave me on hold as I like the song playing.

What is the sexist instrument? (and don't say banjo or flute)

The drum would be fairly sexist I'd imagine but the clarinet is the sexiest.

I do, but I'm not stressed as a rule if you know what I mean.
